This one is in Excellent Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, No Crazing. Very nice Empress Josephine Porcelain Portrait Plate. Josephine was Napoleon's first wife. The center portrait is hand-painted with great detail. The plate is highly decorated with a gilded rim. There are three bands decorated with florals and gold scrolls. The bands are separated by two narrow red bands that are enamel beaded. The third band has Laurels separated by a capital N for Napoleon. The back of the plate has a painted over the glaze Bee Hive mark. This plate looks very well taken care of perhaps under glass or in a cabinet protected for a long period of time.
