PATTERN & DESIGN

This scenic landscape design reflects early 20th century Japanese export porcelain styles, popular between 1910 and 1930. The soft airbrushed coloration combined with hand detailing was a hallmark of Meito decorative wares during this period. The composition features a tranquil shoreline scene with stylized tree and graduated sky tones.
