Fenton Marigold Carnival Glass Enameled Lotus 3 3/4" Tumbler 1910–1912
This one is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. The iridescence is bright and clean, and the hand-applied enamel decoration is well preserved with strong color and detail.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
This beautiful early Fenton Carnival Glass tumbler features the highly collectible Enameled Lotus pattern, produced during the early years of Fenton’s Carnival Glass production circa 1910–1912. The piece displays a rich marigold iridescent finish with strong golden highlights and warm orange undertones.
The standout feature is the hand-applied enamel floral decoration, showcasing stylized lotus blossoms in soft pink, white, and green tones. These enamel-decorated tumblers were part of Fenton’s higher-end offerings and are significantly more desirable than standard non-enameled examples.
The tumbler form is clean and classic, with a slightly flared rim and a smooth body that allows the iridescence and enamel work to stand out beautifully. The base is ground, as expected for this type, confirming early production quality.
This is a genuine antique Carnival Glass example from Fenton’s original production era and not a later reproduction.
This Carnival glass piece is from a lifetime collection of well over a thousand pieces of Carnival Glass collected over the years. We were very lucky to be able to purchase over 180 pieces from this collection and make them available to our buyers.

PATTERN & DESIGN
The Lotus pattern is one of Fenton’s most recognizable early Carnival Glass designs, featuring flowing organic floral elements inspired by Art Nouveau styling. The enameled versions elevate the design with hand-painted detail, making each piece slightly unique and more desirable among collectors.
The marigold finish produces the classic Carnival Glass iridescence, shifting between gold, amber, and soft rainbow hues depending on lighting. Combined with the enamel work, this creates a striking visual presentation highly sought after in early Fenton pieces.
