ITEM DESCRIPTION

This Lefton Occupied Japan Porcelain Cup & Saucer Set is in Very Good Vintage Condition with No Chips No Cracks NOTE: there is wear to the gold around the center of the saucer(SEE pictures). Produced for the American Beauty line during the Occupied Japan era, this elegant hand-painted set features an abundant fruit motif including grapes, pears, peaches, berries, and cherries surrounding a richly gilded gold center. The cup interior and exterior are beautifully decorated with matching fruit designs, while the handle, foot, and borders are accented with bright gold trim. The combination of colorful fruit decoration and extensive gold gilding creates a striking presentation typical of quality post-war Japanese porcelain.

Very Good Vintage Condition with No Chips No Cracks NOTE: there is wear to the gold around the center of the saucer(SEE pictures). The hand-painted decoration remains bright and vibrant with very good gold gilding. Minimal signs of age and normal use.

The cup measures 2 5/8" High x 3 3/8" Wide rim to rim, and the saucer is 5 1/2" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Set.
