PATTERN & DESIGN

Shen & Yulan are an especially decorative Florence Ceramics couple featuring the elaborate hand-painted details for which the Pasadena company is known.

Both figures are modeled as coordinating busts with sweeping shoulders, richly decorated clothing and distinctive headdresses. Raised colorful accents and extensive gold detailing provide additional dimension against the glossy white porcelain.

The pair was designed to complement one another, with similar facial styling, colors and decorative elements while giving each figure an individual costume and headdress. Displayed together, Shen & Yulan make an impressive example of vintage Florence Ceramics decorative porcelain from the 1940s.

These measure approximately 8" High x 5" Wide base. I have provided many pictures to best describe the condition of these Figurines.
