Sone China Porcelain Occupied Japan Floral Gold Trim Handled 16" Oval Serving Platter 1945-1952

This platter is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. The porcelain is clean and bright, and the floral decoration and gold trim remain attractive throughout.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This elegant Sone China oval serving platter was produced in Japan during the Occupied Japan period, dating from 1945 to 1952. Crafted of fine porcelain, it features delicate floral bouquets accented by ornate gold scrollwork, a burgundy rim band, and integrated handles at each end. The soft pastel floral decoration and refined gold trim reflect the classic formal dining styles popular during the post-war era.

A beautiful addition to an Occupied Japan collection, vintage china service, or traditional table setting.

Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. The platter shows very little evidence of use and displays beautifully. Please review all photographs carefully.

PATTERN & DESIGN

The platter features a classic floral garland motif with pastel blossoms, intricate gold scrollwork, a burgundy border, and delicate gold accents throughout. The graceful oval form and integrated handles make it both decorative and functional for serving and display.
