Bio provided by Rhonda Simonis

I began potting forty years ago and helped re-form the Bay Potters group. I attended TAFE for about 6 years completing my Studio Ceramics certificates.
As a workshop junkie I managed to have some wonderful learning experiences with some of Australia’s top potters, also managed to enjoy classes and presentations with some International visiting artists. I am also a life member of the Wide Bay Burnett Potters Association which has recently celebrated its 39th anniversary at their annual convention. For 16 years I was part of a craft co-operative called Pennylane Pottery & Craft which was eventually squeezed out with the GST and rising insurance costs. For the last 12 years I have been teaching pottery and art at a maximum security prison, which has been an amazing experience and has led me back to studying for a degree in human services with the aim of using art as therapy.
This measures 10" High x 3 1/4" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Vase.
