The exterior displays the Poppy pattern, with detailed flowers, stems, and flowing vine elements that are crisply molded and well-defined. The interior features a stippled rays medallion at the center, adding texture and visual depth while complementing the overall design.

The bowl has a classic ruffled rim with evenly spaced folds, giving it strong display presence and a balanced form. Northwood was one of the premier Carnival Glass producers of the early 20th century, and this pattern remains a favorite among collectors.
