Westmoreland Carnival Glass Green Iridescent Shell & Jewel Antique 4 1/4" Footed Creamer 1893–1910s

This one is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, and No Crazing. The iridescence is soft and even, showing a pleasing green base with warm golden highlights. Displays very well.

This Carnival glass piece is from a lifetime collection of well over a thousand pieces of Carnival Glass collected over the years. We were very lucky to be able to purchase over 180 pieces from this collection and make them available to our buyers.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is an early Westmoreland carnival glass creamer in the Shell & Jewel pattern, dating to the early production period of carnival glass. The piece features a light green base with fine stippled texture and a soft iridescent finish.

The design includes raised shell panels around the body with a decorative band of jewels and shells along the upper rim. The form is a footed creamer with an applied handle and a cleanly formed pouring spout. The interior shows a warm golden iridescence, contrasting nicely with the green exterior.

ITEM CONDITION

This creamer is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, and No Crazing.
NOTE: There may be very light shelf wear and minor base wear consistent with age. The surface remains clean with a soft, even iridescent finish.

PATTERN & DESIGN

The Shell & Jewel pattern is an early pressed glass design adapted into carnival glass by Westmoreland. The combination of stippled background, raised shell motifs, and jeweled border creates strong texture and light reflection, especially in green examples.
