ITEM DESCRIPTION
This Antique New England Glass Amberina Diamond Optic Blown Tumbler is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips or Cracks NOTE: there are some scratches on the base. Dating from 1883-1888, this beautiful Victorian-era tumbler features the classic Amberina color transition from deep ruby red at the upper portion through warm orange to glowing golden amber toward the base. The hand-blown glass was formed in an optic mold, creating the distinctive repeating Diamond Optic design across the body. The optical pattern enhances the rich graduated coloring and gives the glass excellent visual depth.
ITEM CONDITION
Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips or Cracks NOTE: there are some scratches on the base. The glass remains bright with beautiful ruby red, orange and golden amber coloring. There are light age-appropriate signs of wear consistent with its age. Please review the photos for additional condition details.

This antique New England Glass tumbler features the distinctive Diamond Optic pattern, formed by blowing the glass into an optic mold to create repeating diamond-shaped optical panels around the body. The design produces a dimensional effect as light passes through the glass and emphasizes the dramatic Amberina coloring. The color graduates from rich ruby red at the top through orange tones to golden amber at the base. New England Glass Company's Amberina from the 1880s is an important example of late 19th-century American art glass and remains highly collectible today.
