PATTERN & DESIGN
This beautiful dinner bell was handcrafted using the traditional Murano Tre Fuochi ("Three Fires") technique, one of the most labor-intensive decorative methods used by Murano artisans. The process begins with blowing the cobalt blue glass bell. During the second firing, heavy 24K gold gilt decoration is carefully applied and permanently fused to the glass. A final firing is then used to apply the raised enamel "paste" flowers, creating the distinctive three-dimensional white petals and green leaves. This multi-stage process results in a richly decorated work of art that showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and centuries-old glassmaking traditions of Murano, Italy.
