This plate is in Very Good vintage condition with no chips and no cracks. Light utensil wear is present in the well consistent with normal hotel use. Gloss remains strong and the border design displays beautifully.

Vintage W H Grindley & Co. “Hotel Ware” vitrified porcelain 7 inch salad plate made in England. This durable restaurant and hospitality-grade china was produced for long-term institutional use and is known for its heavy, chip-resistant body.
The design features a classic Greek key (meander) border in warm tan/gold around the rim, accented by a delicate inner blue scroll and leaf garland band. The ivory white ground gives it a refined, traditional dining presentation suitable for formal table settings.
