PATTERN & DESIGN
These elegant stemmed glasses feature broad Rose Pink bowls decorated with a pronounced Swirl Optic pattern that produces a flowing, dimensional effect as light passes through the glass. Directly beneath each bowl is a distinctive twisted clear glass knop, followed by a long slender stem and broad circular foot. The unusual twisted knop provides an attractive decorative transition between the colorful bowl and clear stem.
The combination of delicate coloring, optical molding, refined proportions and decorative stem work is characteristic of the high-quality stemware associated with the Elegant Glass era of the 1920s-1950s. Although the specific manufacturer and pattern have not been identified, the distinctive Rose Pink Swirl Optic bowls and twisted knop stems make this an especially attractive set for collectors of vintage and Elegant Glass stemware.
These measure 6 1/8" High x 4 1/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of these Glasses.
