ITEM DESCRIPTION
Vintage Huta Julia Polish lead crystal bowl in a striking octagonal form with rich, deeply cut geometric and floral decoration. The interior base features a large central flower head motif surrounded by radiating star cuts and cross-hatched diamonds. The sides alternate between fan panels, lattice cutting, and small floral medallions, creating bold symmetry and strong light refraction.
The scalloped saw-tooth rim and faceted sides give the bowl architectural presence and exceptional sparkle. Huta Julia, formerly part of the historic Josephine glassworks tradition in Piechowice, Poland, was renowned for producing high-quality, heavy lead crystal for export during the late 20th century.
A substantial and decorative serving or centerpiece bowl with classic European brilliance.
