ITEM DESCRIPTION

This Svaja Art Glass Etched Frog, Dragonfly & Tall Grass Vase is in Excellent Vintage Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Fleabites. This distinctive studio art glass vase measures approximately 4 3/4" tall and is signed and dated 2004 on the base.

The vase is crafted from substantial clear glass with a beautifully frosted etched nature scene wrapping around the exterior. One side features a frog nestled among tall blades of grass, while the opposite side depicts a dragonfly surrounded by the same graceful grass design.

The contrast between the polished clear glass and frosted decoration gives the design wonderful depth and allows the frog, dragonfly, and grasses to stand out beautifully against the transparent body.

The underside is hand-engraved with the Svaja signature and 2004 date, adding to the collectibility of this unusual piece of contemporary studio art glass.

PATTERN & DESIGN

This unusual Svaja vase features a continuous nature-inspired design incorporating a frog, dragonfly, and tall grasses.

The frog is depicted climbing or resting among the long blades of grass on one side of the vase, while a dragonfly appears among the grasses on the opposite side. The softly frosted decoration contrasts beautifully against the heavy clear glass and changes in appearance as the vase is viewed from different angles.

The hand-engraved Svaja signature and 2004 date on the underside complete this attractive example of contemporary decorative art glass.

This measures 4 3/4" Long x 3 3/4" Wide. I have provided many pictures to best describe the condition of this Figurine.
