ITEM DESCRIPTION

This Victorian Pink Cranberry Glass Set of Two Antique Beakers Tumblers is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips or Cracks. Dating to circa 1880, these elegant hand-blown glass beakers feature a beautiful soft pink cranberry color with simple tapered cylindrical forms and polished rims. Each measures approximately 3 3/4" high.

The subtle variations in the glass and coloration are characteristic of handmade Victorian-era glass and add to the charm of this matching pair.

ITEM CONDITION

Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips or Cracks. There are light age-appropriate signs of wear consistent with pieces dating from the late 19th century. Please review the photos for additional condition details.

PATTERN & DESIGN

These antique Victorian beakers feature a simple, graceful form that allows the pink cranberry glass to be the focal point of the design. Cranberry glass achieved its distinctive coloration through the use of gold compounds in the glassmaking process and became especially fashionable for decorative and table glass during the Victorian period.

The clean tapered shape, delicate pink coloration and handmade character make this matching pair attractive examples of late 19th-century Victorian glassware.
