PATTERN & DESIGN
Fenton produced this special Bicentennial series in 1976 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of American independence. Independence Blue was the only iridized color used for Fenton's Bicentennial items, with additional pieces produced in non-iridized Patriot Red, Valley Forge White, and chocolate glass. The Patriots bell combines four raised portrait medallions with small patriotic decorative elements around the body and an American eagle forming the top of the handle. Fenton's molds for these Bicentennial pieces were destroyed following production, adding additional collector interest to this one-year commemorative design.
This measures 6 1/2" High x 3 5/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Bell.
