ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is a vintage Royal York Salisbury cup and saucer made in England, dating to approximately 1940–1960. The “Royal York” trade name was used by Salisbury China Co., a Staffordshire maker active from 1927 to 1961, with this crown mark style commonly seen around the mid-20th century.

The design features a unique grey lattice pattern wrapping the cup and saucer rim, accented with soft pastel florals in blue, yellow, and pink. The delicate gold gilt trim highlights the rim and handle, giving the set a classic English tea service look with a slightly more modern geometric influence compared to earlier florals.

ITEM CONDITION

Excellent Vintage Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Gold trim is well preserved. Shows very light signs of use consistent with age.
