ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is a hand-thrown studio art pottery bowl finished in a rich brown Tenmoku-style glaze, dating to the 1970–1990s studio pottery period. The interior shows a deep, glossy iron glaze with subtle tonal variation, while the exterior features a carved and textured surface that adds depth and visual interest. The contrast between the smooth interior and the carved outer band gives the bowl a strong, well-balanced presence. The form is wide and stable with a defined footed base.
