PATTERN & DESIGN

The Weller Roba line features colorful matte glazes, sculpted floral decoration, and distinctive molded forms characteristic of Weller pottery from the late 1930s. This large centerpiece bowl combines a soft periwinkle blue interior and base with a cream-colored exterior decorated with raised white flowers, green leaves, and naturalistic brown accents. The elongated oval body is enhanced by openwork handles incorporated into the molded decoration, while the flowing scalloped rim and sculpted base give the bowl an especially decorative organic form. Its generous 10 1/2" size makes it an impressive example designed for display as a centerpiece or console bowl.

This measures 3 1/4" High x 10 1/2" Long x 6 1/4" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Centerpiece Bowl.
