Bohemian Czech Cranberry Ruby Flash Enameled Floral Gold Gilt Antique 5 3/4" Kickup Base Vase 1890-1915

This vase is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips No Cracks. The hand-painted enamel floral decoration and gold gilt trim display beautifully with only light age-related wear consistent with antique Bohemian art glass.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Beautiful antique Bohemian Czech art glass vase done in a rich cranberry ruby flash coloration over clear glass. This elegant tapered form features finely hand-painted enamel flowers accented with scrolling gold gilt decoration around the body.

The vase has a polished pontil base and wheel-finished bottom typical of quality late Victorian to early 20th century Bohemian glass production. The deep ruby coloration contrasts beautifully against the bright enamel floral decoration and heavy gold trim.

This style of hand-decorated ruby flash glass was produced in Bohemia during the late 1800s into the early 1900s and is often associated with Moser-style decorative glass.

ITEM CONDITION

Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips No Cracks. The enamel decoration remains nicely preserved. The gold gilt shows minor age-related wear consistent with antique use and display.
