This vintage Florence Ceramics Pasadena Sally Lady Figurine with Flower Holder is in Excellent Vintage Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Made by Florence Ceramics of Pasadena, California, this charming figurine dates from 1942–1964 and measures approximately 6 3/8" tall.

Sally depicts an elegantly dressed young woman wearing a flowing creamy white gown decorated with delicate hand-painted blue flowers and green leaves. Her softly painted face features rosy cheeks and bright red lips, while her brown hair is accented with a pale blue bow.

Her gown features a soft pink collar, tiny pink buttons and matching pink accents at the cuffs. In one hand she holds a wide-brimmed hat decorated in coordinating pink and white.

An especially interesting feature of Sally is the small open flower holder incorporated into the back of her flowing skirt. The opening blends naturally into the sculptural folds of the dress, allowing the piece to function as both a decorative lady figurine and a small flower or posy holder.

Sally is a charming example of Florence Ceramics' decorative lady figurines, combining the graceful modeling of a fashionable young woman with a functional flower holder.

Her full flowing gown is modeled with sweeping folds and decorated with tiny hand-painted blue flowers and green leaves. The pale blue hair bow, pink collar and cuffs, tiny pink buttons and coordinating hat add soft pastel color against the creamy white porcelain.

The flower holder is cleverly incorporated into the back of the gown rather than appearing as a separate vessel, allowing it to become part of the overall sculptural design.
