Shenango China Restaurant Ware Rimrol Pink And Grey Bands Vintage 9 3/4" Divided Grill Plate 1954

This is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. This is an Shenango China restaurant ware grill plate dating to 1958, produced during the golden age of American diners, railroad dining cars, and commercial cafeteria service.

This is the classic 3-compartment divided “grill” or “meat & two” plate form — two upper side sections with a large main well — designed for hearty diner breakfasts and hot lunch plates.

Made from thick, fully vitrified commercial china, Shenango pieces were built for daily heavy use and are noticeably heavier and more durable than household dinnerware. The clean white body with a grey and salmon-pink banded rim gives it that unmistakable mid-century diner look collectors love.

These plates were supplied to restaurants, hospitals, railroads, and military contracts, making them highly collectible today for both display and everyday use.
