Imperial Marigold Carnival Glass Pansy Diamond Quilted Twig Handle Antique 5 3/8" Nappy 1910–1920

This one is in Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, and No Fleabites. The iridescent finish shows strong golden marigold color with nice highlights. A very clean example with crisp pattern detail and a well-formed applied handle.

This Carnival glass piece is from a lifetime collection of well over a thousand pieces of Carnival Glass collected over the years. We were very lucky to be able to purchase over 180 pieces from this collection and make them available to our buyers.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This is a beautiful antique Imperial Carnival Glass handled nappy in the popular Pansy pattern, produced during the early 1910s. The bowl features a rich marigold base with a warm, glowing iridescent finish.

The interior is decorated with a detailed pansy floral design, while the exterior features a diamond quilted pattern accented with small raised dots. The applied twig-style handle adds character and enhances the overall presentation, making this a classic and desirable early Carnival Glass form.

ITEM CONDITION

Excellent Antique Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, and No Fleabites. The iridescence remains strong and even. Typical light base wear consistent with age. No repairs.

PATTERN & DESIGN

The Pansy pattern features a large central floral motif with finely detailed petals and leaves, surrounded by a textured ground. The exterior diamond quilted design with raised bead accents adds depth and enhances the reflective qualities of the iridescent finish.

This measures 2 1/8" High x 5 3/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Nappy.
