PATTERN & DESIGN

This antique Victorian beaker features a simple, graceful form that allows the beautiful pink cranberry glass to be the focal point of the design. Cranberry glass achieved its distinctive coloration through the use of gold compounds in the glassmaking process and became especially fashionable for decorative and table glass during the Victorian period.

The clean tapered shape, delicate pink coloration and handmade character make this an attractive example of late 19th-century Victorian glassware.
