PATTERN & DESIGN

This Enesco Japan pitcher and wash basin set reflects the decorative floral porcelain popular during the mid-20th century. The design is dominated by lush pink, burgundy and yellow roses with shaded petals and detailed green foliage. Soft cream and yellow shading provides a warm background for the floral decoration, while the gold-trimmed scalloped edges and elaborate scrolling pitcher handle add an elegant finishing touch.

The coordinated pitcher and wash basin form recalls traditional bedroom wash sets while its smaller decorative size makes it particularly well suited for display in a vintage porcelain, floral or Japanese decorative arts collection.

The pitcher measures 6" High x 6 1/4" Wide spout to handle and the basin is 1 1/2" High x 9 1/4" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this set.
